Yay~

I just got home from Shah Alam. I had gone to the Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan (= Road Transport Department) to submit the notice of a change of my car colour. That place was far, gosh, for all of Selangor's road users to go to. It was at the border between Shah Alam and Klang. I drove around in circles looking for 'Jalan Padang Jawa' (literally 'Javanese Field Road':) At long last I came to the disagreeable Javanese Field Road, but only to end up at a kampung (village). A Javanese people's village I suppose. I was determined to find the JPJ, didn't want to waste having come that far, getting lost and getting stuck in jams.

Pic of a KL jam I took from inside the bus during the Petrosains trips last November. (Click here and here to see posts on said trips.)

After all the trouble, it felt really good to finally stumble upon the state's JPJ. Funny the local PJ branch of the JPJ doesn't have this service. I thought every Malaysian department had gone online. Looks like I was wrong. Got it done and drove home with a little sense of 'victory', having successfully completed my mission :)

A hologram car & driver at Petrosains: The Discovery Centre

It rained quite heavy as I drove home but it was nice. Nice accompanying nature music to sing a 'victory song' all-the-way-home-while-driving-alone with :) And it didn't rain on me too, only on my car. Gave Calansil a free shower :) Cause it didn't rain when I got into the car and the time I got out. Ahh blessed :D

Another car at Petrosains

I dunno about other people but sometimes, without thinking about it, for me songs just pop into my head. Songs that are in tune to the way I feel at a particular time. Maybe because there's no music in my car, the player has been spoilt for a while now. Songs I already know of course. But might be even those I haven't heard or sang for really, really, really long, some I almost forgot about. They somehow just cross my mind in accordance to my mood! Kinda nice.

A picture puzzle at Petrosains one of the students solved.

Like Petra's He Came, He Saw, He conquered did as my unicorn 'galloped' down the Federal Highway :D In fact I had even forgotten the title of the song and which band, because I last sang it so long ago. But promptly knew it again because of this post. Yeah, Google make many lost stuff do recall. So thank Google wise make!

Below is this old song I found on YouTube. Take a listen if you will. Nice song to feel victorious with hehe... And boom and bellow along to in the car when you're in it alone in the rain. When you're very happy. It's a fast, 'shouting' type of song, the singer's voice a kind of husky I think. But nice kind of shouting la.

He Came, He Saw, He Conquered
By Petra
Words by Bob Hartman

He came alone into the battle
He knew nobody else could face His foe
He left his throne, He left His glory
He knew nobody else could ever go

He called the bluff, He took the challenge
He came into this world to seek and save
No one could know, no one could fathom
The way to win was only through the grave

They laid Him in His tomb
They thought they'd sealed His doom
But He rose - He rose

He came, He saw, He conquered death and hell
He came, He saw, He is alive and well
He was, He is and only He forgives
He died; He rose, He lives
He came, He saw, He conquered

The doors were locked, they heard Him knocking
They were afraid they would be taken too
Familiar voice said "Come and follow"
Come and see the things the Lord can do

They went to where He lay
The stone was rolled away
He rose - He rose

He came into this world,
He saw humanity
He heard the S.O.S.,
He met the enemy
The enemy was conquered
The enemy was conquered
